You put your feet on the exit line Tryn'a get away You see them rockets across the sky On a cold Monday Have you got any idea what's going on? You think the world is turning on your smart phone You put your dreams on material things You think that I don't know You never learned how to flap your wings When you were left on your own Have you got any idea what's going on? You think the savior's coming with a pot of gold Well, I was tired when you arrived here And I left before you talked But I could see in your eyes that there was something wrong Something I'd already seen before And now you're trying to apologize But who do you wanna fool? You keep it well under your disguise Thought you were playin' it cool Have you got any idea what's going on? I thought that you were learning how to play the song Well, I was tired when you arrived here And I left before you talked But I could see in your eyes that there was something wrong Something I'd already seen before

The Secret 02:35
Marlene was a country rock singer For Catherine's favorite band She kept a little story with her She wouldn't tell to a friend They were back in town With the tickets sold out When Marlene decided to hang out And in the middle of the night Paparazzi came behind And clicked her kissin' Catherine's mouth Down goes the secret Though they'd been trying to keep it Catherine's dad was the reverend in a church He wanted another version While her mom didn't get it that much She thought that Catherine was virgin But they made love that night On a private jet flight Not worrying 'bout the rumors below Marlene had the means Just outside of New Orleans Where they could get a lot of blow Down goes the secret Though they'd been trying to keep it Down goes the secret And they'd been trying to keep it Down goes the secret Though they'd been trying to keep it Down goes the secret And they'd been trying to keep it Yeah, keep it coming now Keep it coming now Keep it rolling now Yeah, keep me coming now

Linda Lee 03:50
Well, she came up from Austin maybe ten years ago In a two-door-pickup her grandfather drove With a goal in her mind and a song in her heart She was sure that California kept a brand new start I was working as a waiter at an Italian joint But for dreaming way too much I often missed the point On the day that I was fired she was walking by And I thought I caught a sparkle coming from her eye Hello, Linda Lee I know it sounds a little awkward, but I may have seen you in my dream Oh well, don’t you think We could refresh this conversation with a little something to drink She asked ‘how do you know my name’, I said ‘it’s in the tag’ She giggled and accepted to go for a leg We talked about our lives, both good and bad times We made each other laugh maybe a thousand times You know, Linda Lee I’m sure it feels a little early, but don’t you think that we could free Our souls and our hearts And dive into this moment just like lovers at first sight Can't remember the day she left no more But I remember the stars shinin' on her floor Tonight I'm gonna dream about her So long, Linda Lee I know there's something that's connecting your old loving to me Farewell, if that's the word Sometimes I feel like letting go, sometimes I feel like letting burn

Someday 03:07
I wake up on a rainy day To see your eyes again They're filled with joy and hope And all the messages are sent Though we're lying on a bed We ain't got money to pay We both know this rain Will have to stop someday I believe it's the tower clock That's calling on a trek I feel the winds of changing And they're blowing on my back I feel something down inside That's gonna put me on my way And whatever that I'm looking for I'll get to that someday I'm just a rider rumbling through the night I'm just a man with all the will to fight This here is my song, my one and only prayer Won't you come along, I just can't leave for later My friends they're all goin' places I ain't never seen I'm lucky that I found you In the middle of this dream I feel restless in my bones And I'm bound to catch that train Leave your lights on in your porch 'Cause I'm getting there someday I'm just a rider rumbling through the night I'm just a man with all the will to fight This here is my song, my one and only prayer Won't you come along, I just can't leave for later

Up to You 04:49
He is like the sun on a rainy day Bringing you lies as it goes away And you get less and less of your own self To make him feel good And you know that it's not a dream 'Cause every time you wake on a scream But you go on and on with the idea It's gonna be fine someday Meanwhile your dreams will have to wait While your boy drives you insane Well, you must trust this motherfucker a lot To know he'll make it up to you To know he'll make it up to you Well I think he plays with you But you decide, You decide... Meanwhile your dreams will have to wait While your boy drives you insane Well, you must trust this motherfucker a lot To know he'll make it up to you To know he'll make it up to you Yeah, he's gonna make it up to you

I’ve been rollin’ down the line to you Hoping to find you, girl Workin’ to keep the horizon still Beatin’ the heck o’ my old mobile Baby, I’m weary from driving by The ashes of mornings and half goodbyes But you... you’re worth all the distance I’ve been keepin’ an eye on the stars Prayin’ to find you, girl Playin’ the records I love the most To see if the songs can describe our love Maybe the bugs on the windshield know A bit of the pain I feel when I’m gone But you’re so light and resistant I’ve been rollin’ down the old highway Needin’ to find you, girl Maybe I’m close to the end by now Ringin’ your doorbell, knees on the ground Baby, it’s simple: just let me in I want you to feel all the love I bring to you From sleepless nights’ dreams

Prisoner 04:00
You're wanting me to be your robot You're wanting me to live under your rules You give me something and expect something back Just let me tell you it don't work like that I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner You're playing games with my good will, you see Making me think there ain't no victory I know you're lying when you make that face You make the world I live seem out of place I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I've got my own king to check mate I've got my own ball number eight I've got some things to do before the sun goes down Now won't you let me through I must be freedom bound I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner I'm not your prisoner No!

Trippin' 03:04
Late-night movie stars echo from the upper floor You've got nowhere to hide There is a heart-breaking pain knocking on your front door But someday somebody's gonna do you right There's a list of people you've been trying to avoid But they don't ever seem to leave you 'lone With the midnight a-creepin' you are getting paranoid But you know that it only goes to show: How you've been trippin' Now, you've been trippin' around You go around town with your jet lag eyes Just tryin' to look smart There's people running 'round, but you're payin' little mind If they're bound to hide their heads in the dark You go around shopping, buying power rules You sure have some time to mess around If the street worker's blues ever hit the big news You know that it only goes to show How you've been trippin' Now, you've been trippin' around You've been around left and right You've seen a lot of people cry (But you know it only matters) You know it only matters if you care How you've been trippin' Now, you've been trippin' around How you've been trippin' Now, you've been trippin' around

Back Seat 02:51
Four in the morning we were cruisin' through the night Goin' nowhere we were tryin'a feel alive My baby riding shotgun with her feet up in the air She told me to pull over and went crawling to the back I pushed a tape of the Rolling Stones into the radio She pulled me by the neck and I began to lose control We were on the back seat, and it's alright, 'Cause to get to the morning you have to go through the night On the back seat, rocking and a-rolling all the time Shaken by the cars that were rolling through the road Parked by the side with the hazard lights on Nobody came to see, nobody gives a damn If the heat on the window is a temporary friend We were getting outta there she was putting back her worn out jeans Driving in the sunrise like a steam engine machine We were on the back seat, and it's alright, 'Cause to get to the morning you have to go through the night On the back seat, rocking and a-rolling all the time

Down the road someday I guess we'll meet again Thanks for stayin' around this long Thanks for being a friend Whenever there was a hole Or a story to be told You were the one who filled it You were the one who sang the song There was a time I used to lay around and wonder about the stars 'Cause in my mind You used to be the kind of star that never broke hearts You never let me down There was a time I used to lay around and wonder about the stars 'Cause in my mind You used to be the kind of star that never broke hearts You never let me down Down the road someday I guess we'll meet again Thanks for stayin' around this long Thanks for being a friend Thanks for being a friend Thanks for being a friend
11.
If you want it Take your chance I’m gonna show you the road If you want it Hold my hand You’ll never know if you don’t go I’ll let you fly tonight You’re gonna feel inside You’re gonna do all the things that you want And then the sun will rise and you will shine Then you’re never gonna let me go I know, it’s night, you think the fire is out But if you feel deep down what’s right This will be yours until the end of time So be ready, pack your stuff Your life is moving too fast my love But I’ll never let you go I’ll be waiting for your soul To find I was here all along I know, it’s night, you think the fire is out But if you feel deep down what’s right This will be yours until the end of time Fulfill your heart I'll be yours I'll be yours I'll be yours

about

Yellow Boulevard:
True Rock & Roll from Brazil

Sharing a deep love for the open roads and the western skies, these five young musicians from Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil, decided to make a Rock & Roll band to live the dream. After winning three major prizes in the local scene and independently recording their debut, Yellow Boulevard is now setting off to find what Springsteen called "The Promised Land".

Their first album, recorded live in the studio in just about 16 hours, is called Roll Your Window Down, and is set for release on June 7th. The album was made to be the perfect companion on an evening road trip. Full of stories and characters, the songs flow in a way that almost makes you see the sun setting.
The first two singles are already on air and spinning in all sorts of radio stations throughout Brazil. Their debut video clip reached a thousand views on YouTube in less than 12 hours, which is a big mark for an independent band playing a genre that most people in their country does not listen to.

The band's lineup bets on the sound of the electric guitar in more rhythmic tunes like "Trippin'", but doesn't let go of the beauty that is a finely crafted ballad like "Linda Lee". Inspired by the likes of Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, the band is proud to say they play Rock without forgetting the Roll.

The idea came from Pedro Nascente, lead singer, guitarist and main songwriter, who called upon his best friends to follow a dream. Eduardo Gaspary (drums, backing vocals, sound engineering), Felipe Saul (guitars, backing vocals), Francisco Arias (bass, backing vocals) and Matheus Cardoso (6 & 12 string guitars, lap steel) joined right away. The group was named Yellow Boulevard because they wanted the name of a street, but couldn't find anything that sounded good enough. Four weeks after their first rehearsal the band recorded an EP called The Demo Tapes and put it on streaming platforms as a means of studying who their audience would be. A few months later, after playing a few shows around town, they played Garage Band Festival, sponsored by the state's biggest college radio, and won the big prize: 20 hours in the studio to record a single. Within those 20 hours they recorded 15 songs live on the studio floor, overdubbing only the vocals and the acoustic guitars. That was in October 2018, seven months after their first rehearsal. Work couldn't stop there, so they won first and second place in the revered Gramado's Music Festival with songs "Linda Lee" and "Thanks for Being a Friend (for Tom Petty)".

The album has eleven tracks and was produced and engineered by drummer Eduardo Gaspary, who also coined the song Fulfill Your Heart, the album closer. The other songs were written by singer Pedro Nascente, except Have You Got Any Idea?, which is a collaboration between Pedro and guitarist Matheus Cardoso. The release will be digital for a period, but vinyl copies are being studied for the future.
